A modern classic kitchen standard that was originally introduced in the 1980s, Bodum has given is Brazil French press coffeemaker a few tweaks for the 21st century. The ultra-light, heat-resistant borosilicate glass beaker remains, and it's now complemented by a polypropylene base with a new wider, ergonomic handle design. Presented in off white with Bodum's logo at the bottom of the base, this 8-cup coffee press can hold up to 34 ounces, and it's available in a rainbow of additional colors.
Perfect for extracting your coffee's aromatic oils and subtle flavors, the Bodum New Brazil's 3-part stainless steel plunger has a fine mesh filter, which allows the flavor of the coffee to be delivered direct to your cup and not absorbed by a paper filter. Plus, no paper filter means no waste and a greener cup of coffee. The patented safety lid also prevents the splashing of liquids while pressing. All parts are dishwasher safe.
To make the perfect pot of French press coffee, add 1 rounded tablespoon of coarsely ground coffee for each 4-ounce cup of water. After pouring boiling water over the coffee, give the grounds a stir with a plastic spoon, then allow your coffee to brew in the press for 4 minutes pressing down on the plunger.
