- Kiwi Jasper, sometimes known as Sesame Jasper, is a pale sea-foam green stone with black and clear crystal spotting. This speckled stone is often mixed with translucent crystalline formations. The lighter, near white variety of this stone is usually given the name Sesame Jasper, whereas the light green variety is what typically is referred to as Kiwi Jasper. What give this stone its unique mint green colour, is a mix of tourmaline, quartz and amazonite in pegmatite base.
- This variety of Jasper is a mint green color with flecks of black, reminiscent of dots. Kiwi / Sesame Jasper is a pale sea foam green color with black and clear crystal flecks effect all over the stones.
- A pegmatite is an igneous rock showing a very coarse texure, with large interlocking crystals usually greater in size than 1 cm and sometimes greater than 1 meter. Most pegmatites are composed of quartz, feldspar, and mica, having a similar silicic composition as granite.
