NorCal Brewing Solutions Speidel Accessory Silicone Gasket. Leak-Free attachment for Speidel Fermenters, Storage Tanks. Features V Groove on inside of gasket. Stock Speidel gaskets are made from rubber. They sandwich between the vessel and the accessory. Nothing holds the gasket in place as you screw on and tighten the plastic orange ring onto the Speidel. This sandwich method - under tightening torque - makes the gasket prone to slippage and displacement, which inevitably leads to leaks. We developed this custom gasket to be SUPERIOR to the stock gasket because it stretches and SNAPS AROUND the accessory disc, sealing on 3 sides! CHARACTERISTICS and SPECIFICATIONS: 100% food grade silicone. ACCESSORY SHOWN IN FINAL PICTURE IS SOLD SEPARATELY.
